NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- North Charleston police rushed to the area surrounding Stall High School late Monday.

A spokesperson for the North Charleston Police Department told ABC News 4 there were reports of shots fired in the area of Ashley Phosphate Road and Peppermill Parkway. So far, officials say no victim has been found.

According to police report, a silver Honda Pilot was stopped by police on Ashley Phosphate with four men inside. When officers searched the vehicle they found "two semi auto handguns, a Taurus Millennium which was in the glove box and a Sig Sauer P220 which was in the back compartment of the passenger seat."

The report says all of the weapons "came back clear" from a status check, that the handgun in the glove box was legally stored and officers could not determine who was "unlawfully in possession of the handgun" in the back of the passenger's chair.

Investigators are waiting on results from gun shot residue and DNA tests to decide what and if any charges will be filed.

A heavy police presence and crime tape were spotted at a Mobile gas station in the 3600 block of Ashley Phosphate Road. Officials have not yet said how or if this is connected to the reported shooting.
