Body of fallen Summerville soldier to return home Thursday

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) - The body of a fallen soldier from Summerville is expected to be brought home to the Charleston Air Force Base Thursday afternoon.

Chief Warrant Officer Curtis S. Reagan of Summerville died on Mar. 29 in Kandahar from a non-combat related illness.

Military officials have not released anymore details on the matter.

Reagan was assigned to the 603rd Aviation Support Battalion, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield.

Governor Nikki Haley has requested flags be flown at half-staff this Saturday, April 6 to honor Officer Reagan.
