HANAHAN, S.C. (WCIV)  - The 17-year-old driver of a car that led Hanahan police on a chase, ending with a vicious wreck that killed two passengers, was given bond Saturday morning.

Hanahan Police say they charged Shaylynn Nichole Capers Friday afternoon with failure to stop for blue lights and siren, and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

The SC Highway Patrol charged Capers with two counts of reckless homicide.

Bond was set at $600,000 for Capers Saturday morning.

Bond for the homicide charges was set at $80,000 per count, while the failure to stop for blue lights charge was set at $400,000.  Bond for the stolen vehicle charged was $40,000.

Troopers say Capers was driving the car with three other passengers that was being chased by Hanahan Police late Wednesday night.

According to troopers, the car went off Foster Creek Road and flipped, ejecting three of the passengers.

Pronounced dead on the scene by Coroner Bill Salisbury was 19-year-old Patrick Graham of North Charleston.

Salisbury said the second victim, 18-year-old Martin Pinckney of North Charleston, was taken to Medical University Hospital and pronounced dead at the hospital.
