EPHRATA, Pa. (WHTM) -
A woman using a cell phone crashed into the back of an unoccupied police car in Lancaster County, according to police.
Pengmany Chaleunsouk, 31, of Ephrata, was driving in the 1100 block of West Main Street when she responded to a text message Tuesday night and drove her vehicle into a borough police cruiser parked along the curb, police said.
Chaleunsouk's vehicle and the police car had to be towed from the scene. No one was injured in the crash.
Ephrata police said their unoccupied car was one of three police vehicles parked at the location while officers were serving a mental health warrant nearby.
