Arrests made in Coming St armed robbery

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston Police arrested two suspects for a downtown armed robbery and burglary that happened last month on Coming Street.

The first suspect, 19-year-old Marquis Grampus was arrested the night of the burglary. The second suspect, 22-year-old Robert Grant was arrested on Wednesday.

According to police, around 12:30 the afternoon of the incident, two men armed with handguns entered a Coming Street apartment, got into a fight with the residents and stole cell phones and video games.

The victims were injured, but not severely.

Both men are charged with three counts of armed robbery, burglary in the first degree and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
