NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A service member stationed at Joint Base Charleston is being charged with having voyeuristic videos that include images of a nude 6-year-old girl.

According to North Charleston police, the victim's father found videos of his 6-year-old daughter on a hard drive belonging to 35-year-old John V. Lapinski.

Officers searched Lapinski's home and found a Kodak PlayTouch camera with 16 videos on it. The report says six of the videos include a woman "in some form of undress and with a nude juvenile child in a few" and three others showing the woman being "filmed without her knowledge."

Lapinski is being charged with three counts of Peeping Tom and six counts of Voyeurism.

Investigators said they are teaming up with the Solicitor's Office for pending charges in regards to the videos of the child.

In the rest of the videos, there are other unidentified women who were recorded "in forms of undress."

A witness told officers that Lapinski is in the Air Force and had to be "moved to another job due to complaints." Joint Base Charleston officials confirmed that Tech. Sgt. Lapinski is the section chief for the 437th Maintenance Squadron.

Detectives will be contacting the Air Force Office of Special Investigations for further information on Lapinski.

Bond was set at $5,000 for each of the nine counts against him totaling $45,000.
