Posted: Updated:

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) - Three people were arrested early Wednesday morning after officers spotted the trio coming through a locked fence, deputies said.

According to the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office, 44-year-old Donald Poston Jr., 31-year-old Jeffery Lyle Dukes and 31-year-old Jennifer Lynn Perkins were arrested after officers spotted them at the Stein, Inc. building.

Deputies say the arrests came after officers stopped to investigate a suspicious vehicle and spotted the Poston, Dukes and Perkins. The three were isolated and questioned, which is when deputies figured out they were at Stein, Inc. to steal metal, a report states.

All three have been charged with trespassing and petit larceny and are being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
