NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A North Charleston home was riddled with bullets early Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson for the North Charleston Police Department says a shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. along Captain Avenue.

Officers arrived to find several holes through the windows and siding on the front of a residence.A report says they also found bullet holes in walls inside the home with several bullet fragments but no shell casings were found.

While no one was injured, one of the victims said a bullet "went through the front of the residence and went through the interior wall just above her head."

One of the victims told police the incident may have stemmed from an earlier altercation with family members at a nearby Walmart. She said her cousin, Christina Platt was with Anthony White who yelled "Why you telling people I stole from you all" then said "I will just see you all at your house."

The victim told police she thought it was White who shot at the home but did not see either the shooter or the suspect's vehicle since they were all taking cover in the back of the house.

Police caught up with the family members, Harold Anthony White and Christina Platt, but found nothing to tie them to the shooting. The two were taken into custody on unrelated charges including simple possession and lying to police.

Police say the incident is under investigation.
