MCCLELLANVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) – Senior citizens in McClellanville had JROTC escorts for their special night.

Six of the Lincoln Middle-High School Army Junior ROTC on April 26 went to the new Berkeley Electric Building in McClellanville to help the senior citizens of the community enjoy their prom.

The cadets escorted the seniors to the picture booth in order to get their pictures taken and passed out tickets for a drawing.

After that, SSG Stephen Tinney and his wife, Wanda, played a few games with the seniors to give them the chance to win a prize.

The cadets also helped serve food and interacted with the seniors. Everyone had a great time, and the cadets said they can't wait to do it again.
