JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- Consolidated Dispatch has confirmed that a school bus has been involved in an accident at Harbor View Road and Greg Drive on James Island.

There are no injuries reported but there were six high school students on the bus.

According to a spokesperson with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, the bus was traveling on Greg Drive when it turned onto Harbor View Road and side-swiped a Chrysler van around 7:30 a.m.

At 8:15 a.m., the students were still on the bus, which is still operable, as deputies investigated the scene.
