A Bristow man is in court today accused of sabotaging an investigation into a 20-year-old cold case.

Grover Prewitt Jr. is expected to be arraigned Friday in Creek County. He's charged with being an accessory after the fact of first-degree murder.

The arraignment comes a week after authorities announced a major breakthrough in a 1992 cold case.

OSBI agents announced last Thursday that they found three bodies near Jennings believed to be Wendy Camp, her 6-year-old daughter Cynthia Britto, and Wendy’s sister-in-law Lisa Kregear who went missing in 1992.

No one has been charged in the deaths of the two women and child. Prosecutors say Prewitt sabotaged a pair of undercover surveillance attempts as investigators looked into the case.

The bodies were found on land that was owned by Prewitt and later his mother around the time of the murders in the early 1990s.

OSBI agents say Prewitt concealed the fact the three had been murdered and their bodies dumped in an eight-foot-deep hole originally dug for a septic tank.

OSBI believes several others, possibly family members, are involved in the homicides. The bureau is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the homicides. Anyone with information is urged to call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
