GCSO looking for suspect after bar fight turns into shooting

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted for attempted murder.

Deputies are looking for Joshua Rashaun Taylor of Old Collins Creek Road in McClellanville.  

According to GCSO officials, around 2:50 a.m. Monday, an fight broke out at the Zodiac Lounge on St. Delight Road in the Sampit Community of Georgetown County.

The fight turned into a shooting and Taylor is named as the suspect. The victim was shot multiple times.

Taylor is described as a young black male, 20 years of age, approximately 5'5" in height and weighing about 135 pounds.

After the fight, deputies say Taylor fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Taylor should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

If anyone knows of Taylor's whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at (843) 546-5102.
