Two Tulsa residents were taken into custody over the weekend after police reportedly found several marijuana plants growing in their apartment.

Tulsa Police arrested Shannon Shell and Jason Leslie late Sunday at their apartment in the 1900 block of W. Archer Place. Both were booked on a complaint of "cultivation of marijuana."

According to the booking report, officers served Shell and Leslie with a search warrant at their west Tulsa residence. It was when they entered the house that they came upon the plants.

The officer at the scene wrote that there were "close to twenty growing marijuana plants growing in soil."
