HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
A Harrisburg man told police that someone shot him and his dog while he was parked in the 1500 block of Walnut Street early Monday.
The 28-year-old man reported that he was waiting to pick up his girlfriend when a car pulled up next to him and someone in the car fired several times at him at around 12:15 a.m., city police said in a news release.
He said he ducked down in the car, but was shot in the left thigh
and left buttocks, and his dog was shot in the leg, according to police.
He got his girlfriend and drove to Harrisburg Hospital, where he was treated and released, police said.
The man reported that he's had a problem with another man for over a month, according to police.
The name of the suspect was not released, pending charges.
