Somehow the twister managed to spare a few homes. We spoke to Natasha Meeks, who's damages were minor compared to others.

"I know it sounds selfish but I am thankful it still here. It's got damage. I mean half the siding came off. Stuff went through the walls," she explained.

There were also stray dogs, wandering around the morning after. Maeghan Hadley, of 1 Day Ranch is fostering some lost animals, including 9 horses.  She was prepared to take on a a stray named Monster, when she noticed a tag with a cell phone number.  She was able to reunite him with his family, which has lost everything.

"We can rebuild. That's it," said Mike Taber, Monster's owner.
