CONWAY, S.C. (WCIV) -- Horry County police have arrested a Charleston man after a two-week long investigation uncovered $500,000 worth of marijuana in a storage unit.

According to detectives with the Horry County Police Department's Narcotics and Vice Section, information led them to the unit on Highway 501 in Conway.

On Wednesday, police say the suspect was captured at the unit and 153 pounds of pot worth about $500,000 was seized along with a 2004 Chevy Silverado.

The suspect, 24-year-old Jacob Colby Phillips, is in custody but charges are still pending.
