Stratford quarterback verbally commits to UGA

Posted: Updated:

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- The quarterback for Stratford High School verbally committed to the University of Georgia on Friday.

Jacob Park selected the Bulldogs over the University of Alabama.

He suffered a knee injury during his junior year, but that did not turn away college recruiters. He was one of the most heavily recruited quarterbacks in the country.

Park was recently invited to take part in ESPN's Elite 11 Quarterback Challenge.

He will be a senior in the fall.
