WASHINGTON (WCIV) -- Kraft's new advertising campaign featuring a scantily clad man handling salad dressing has caught the attention of a conservative mothers group.

One Million Moms called the Kraft Zesty Italian salad dressing ad recently published in People Magazine "disgusting." A release on the group's website describes the ad as "a n*ked man lying on a picnic blanket with only a small portion of the blanket barely covering his g*nitals."

The group claims the ad is not selling salad dressing, adding that Christians will not be able to but Kraft products until they change their advertising.

" The consumers they are attempting to attract - women and mothers - are the very ones they are driving away. Who will want Kraft products in their fridge or pantry if this vulgarity is what they represent?" the group asked.

The group says Kraft does not need to use sex to sell salad dressing.

However, according to Salon, the company released several statements when the campaign began that Kraft had created a star that was resonating with women from 20 to 50.

The model featured in the ad, Anderson Davis, told ABCNews that a lot of people are responding positively to the ads.

"It's really nice to have people come up to you and say, 'Dude, you're super zesty,' or whatever they're going to say to you," Davis told ABC News.

Davis said he's also received several proposals through Twitter and Facebook.
