SCSU raises tuition by 2.5%

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Board of Trustees at South Carolina State University voted to increase the tuition for the 2013-2014 school year by 2.5%, which is one of the lowest tuition increases in the state.

Tuition will increase by $109 for in-state students and $220 for out-of-state students per semester. In addition, the health service fee will increase by $50 and a new athletic fee of $100 will be assessed.
