Broken Arrow Police arrested a 39-year-old man on allegations that he allowed employees at his midtown Tulsa spa to engage in prostitution.

Officers placed Aaron Murphy under arrest on one complaint of maintaining a house of prostitution within 1000 feet of a school or church. He was taken into custody on two outstanding warrants through Tulsa County.

Court documents detail that Murphy reportedly operated Midtown Massage at the 4300 block of E. 31st St. At the business he "knowingly abet the crime of prostitution by allowing persons to solicit and engage in prostitution."

Murphy's business was located at least 1,000 feet next to the Methodist Manor Chapel, according to the documents.

BAPD took him into custody near the 900 block of E. Elmira St. during a traffic stop that confirmed he was wanted on the warrants. He was transported to the Tulsa County Jail.

He is now being held on $2,500 bond and due in court next week.
