Tulsa Gas Prices Begin Inching Up

Posted: Updated:

Pump prices in Tulsa are inching up after falling below $3/gallon last week, according to a national fuel cost website.

GasBuddy's daily survey of 321 gas stations in Tulsa finds the cost for a gallon of regular unleaded has gone up 1.7 cents in the past week, averaging about $3.04/gallon Sunday.

We're still well below the national average, which hovers around $3.49/gallon.

According to GasBuddy, oil prices have been tracking higher since tension in Egypt began to impact the market, driving oil prices higher. In turn, retail gas prices are expected to begin climbing up.
