Posted: Updated:

The Broken Arrow Recycling Center will close temporarily this weekend, opening under new management next week.

The drop-off center at 302 N. Elm Pl. will be closed Saturday, July 13th to Tuesday, July 16th.

During the closure, officials with the Metropolitan Environmental Trust will reorganize the center and reposition equipment in an effort to better serve patrons.

The new management runs through Show, Inc., a non-profit that serves as an employment training center for adults with developmental disabilities. Show, Inc. also operates a recycling center in Sapulpa.

When the Broken Arrow Recycling Center reopens on Wednesday, July 17, attendant hours will be Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

As always there will be a 24 hour drop-off area at the front of the center for citizens to utilize after hours.

High volume customers are asked to come during attendant hours.
