Deputies: $10,000 in fireworks stolen from Johns Island

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- Thousands of dollars of fireworks were stolen from a Johns Island home two days before Independence Day.

According to a release from the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, $10,000 in fireworks disappeared in the early morning hours of July 2 from a Savannah Highway container.

Surveillance videos show three suspects in the area around 3 a.m., about the time deputies estimate the fireworks were stolen.

Deputies did not release a description of the suspects.
