Two men arrested in Meeting Street shooting

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- One person was killed and two others were injured after an early morning shooting in downtown Charleston.

The shooting happened at 420 Meeting Street at the Exxon gas station around 2 a.m. on Sunday, police said.

Police arrested Brian Ancrum, 23 of Tripe Street, and Glendell Gladden Jr., 29, of West Ashley, and charged them both with murder.

According to a release, officers found the three victims at separate hospitals. Officers said all of them had been transported in personal vehicles.

A male victim was found at MUSC Medical Center and later died there, the release states.

A female victim was found at Trident Hospital and a second male victim was found at Roper St. Francis Hospital, both with non-life-threatening injuries, officers said.
