An Owasso homeowner will likely not face any charges after shooting a man who was trying to break into his home Sunday evening.

Owasso Police received a 911 call about an attempted home invasion around 8 p.m. Sunday in the 9900 block of E. 100th Pl. North, and while officers were en route to the scene, they were told shots had been fired.

According to police, when officers arrived, they found the suspect on the back patio with a gunshot wound to the thigh.

He was identified as 44-year-old Timothy Wall, treated on scene by Owasso medics and transported to a Tulsa hospital.

Wall has been charged with first-degree burglary.

Police told KTUL.com that no charges are being sought against the homeowner at this time.
