The Oklahoma Dept. of Transportation is hosting a public meeting Tuesday evening to discuss future improvements to SH-266 in Tulsa and Rogers Counties.
The proposed improvements include widening the existing highway from the east of the Hwy. 169 junction to about 2.5 miles east, improving intersections at 129th E. Ave and 145th E. Ave and replacing bridges at Bird Creek and Bird Creek Overflow.
The existing highway will be widened from two lanes to four lanes with a center turn lane.
Officials will present project information, impacts to drivers and seek comments on the proposal.
It will be held at the ODOT Division 8 Headquarters at 4002 N. Mingo Valley Expressway at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
