3rd man arrested in King Street Grocery armed robbery

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A third man was arrested in connection to the June robbery of King Street Grocery in downtown Charleston.

According to police, 23-year-old Daniel Myers, of North Charleston, was charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

The store was robbed around 8:30 p.m. June 5 by two men armed with guns. .

Chris Jamal Rickenbacker, 25, of North Charleston, was arrested July 3 and charged with armed robbery. Antwan Dominique Bowman, 24, who police say is a former employee of the business, was arrested July 8 and charged with armed robbery and obstruction of justice. 

Bowman is accused of planning the armed robbery with Bowman and Rickenbacker.

According to police, investigators determined Bowman intentionally provided false information about the robbery and withheld information from the investigators.

Bowman was fired soon after the armed robbery when the investigation revealed his involvement, police said.

All three suspects were being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center.
