CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- For the second consecutive year, Roper St. Francis has been named one of the best hospitals in South Carolina, according to U.S. News & World Report's Best Hospital list.

Hospitals are evaluated in 16 different specialties. Roper Hospital is ranked number four in South Carolina and received a 'high-performing' recognition in the following specialties: cancer, gastroenterology and GI surgery, geriatrics, gynecology, nephrology, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, and urology.
Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital is ranked number six in South Carolina and earned 'high-performing' marks in gastroenterology and GI surgery, nephrology, orthopedics and pulmonology.
