SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston and Dorchester COunty Sheriff's deputies teamed up to investigate after a woman said she was kidnapped from the parking lot of Charley O's Club.

According to CCSO officials, the victim called 911 to say she had been abducted after a disturbance broke out at the club.

She told dispatch that as she was leaving, a man identified as Kim Boyd told her to get into his car.

Thinking he would take her to safety, she complied and instead he drove off and took her somewhere in Berkeley County where he sexually assaulted her, investigators said.

The victim told deputies she repeatedly asked Boyd to let her out of the car. Sometime during the incident, she managed to dial 911 and give information so that authorities could locate Boyd's vehicle and the victim.

Boyd was arrested by Charleston County deputies and charged with Kidnapping. He was given $25,000.00 bond.

Deputies also responded to Charley O's but were unable to confirm what kind of disturbance happened at the club and the parties involved had already left the scene.
