Moves Made Toward Reopening TCC Metro

Posted: Updated:

Limited student services will begin at Tulsa Community College's Metro campus this week, following a fire last month that forced the closure of the building.

Nearly 4,000 students, faculty and staff were relocated after a basement electrical fire caused substantial damage in June.

Beginning this week, TCC staff at the Metro campus will help students with fall enrollment, including financial aid, enrollment services, academic advising, testing and bursar services, according to officials.

Officials hope to move staff back to the Metro campus by August 5th, with all services fully operational by that point.

Relocated students in the final week of summer classes will remain as they are, at the Northeast, Southeast and West campuses.

Fall classes begin on August 19th.
