CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - 1 of South Carolina's U.S. Senate races in 2014 may soon be getting more crowded.

Nancy Mace is planning to say whether she will run against U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham in the Republican primary next year.

Mace wrote on her website Thursday that she will make a special announcement Saturday in Goose Creek at the Berkeley County GOP Breakfast. Mace runs a small public relations firm and became the first woman to graduate from The Citadel in 1999.

State Sen. Lee Bright from Spartanburg says he also will enter the Republican primary soon. The only announced candidate to take on Graham is Anderson businessman Richard Cash.

Mace, Bright and Cash all think Graham is not conservative enough for South Carolina.

Graham was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2002.
