Posted: Updated:

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Officials with the North Charleston Police Department said they are investigating a possible drive-by shooting.

Officials said shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a report of gunshots on Hackemann Avenue.

When they arrived, officers found several castings in the road near Beacon Street, officials said.

A witness told officials that a blue Cadillac was driving down Hackemann Street when a passenger started shooting out of the window at two men standing in a yard at 1922 Hackemann Street.

Officials said the witness told them the men ran into the home, came out and started shooting back at the car.

No injuries were reported, officials said.

The incident is still being investigated.
