CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston County Warrant deputies arrested a Charleston woman for stealing money from a vulnerable adult.

According to Charleston County Sheriff's Office officials 53-year-old Sharon V. Hollington is charged with Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult.

They said investigations showed Hollington was a joint account holder with the victim and used money from the checking account to pay her rent. According to officials, Hollington took $52,675 over four years.

Meanwhile, according to the police report, the victim was living in deplorable conditions. His home reportedly had holes in the floor and there was no electricity or running water.
