NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Two people are charged with attempted murder after police say one of them tried to hit an ex-girlfriend's friend with a car.

Dawnn Ashley Jamison, 22, and 23-year-old Michael Jamal Clark were arrested Monday by North Charleston police.

According to the police report, officers responded to a home on Baker Street earlier this month for reports of harassment.

The victim said Jamison, Clark and another woman began harassing her because she "hangs out and is associated with" Clark's ex-girlfriend.

The victim said Jamison punched her in the face and then Clark threw her to the ground before Jamison got into her Grand Marquis and tried to hit the victim as she walked towards her home.

The victim said she was hit in her right leg but was able to get out of the way.

On a later date the two suspects reportedly returned and the victim said she saw Clark waving a gun in the air while driving by.

Both suspects were charged with attempted murder. Jamison was given a $100,000 bond. Clark was given a $200,000 bond.
