FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a massive fire at an old plastics plant in Florence County was likely set by someone.
Investigators say the old DuPont plant had no electricity or water and no one had been inside it for at least three days before the blaze began Sunday night.
The plant near the Great Pee Dee River is currently being used as a warehouse. It suffered massive damage in the fire.
The rubble of the plant is still hot from the fire, and authorities say they won't be able to examine the scene to determine the exact cause of the fire until it cools down.
