CofC students awarded scholarships from Boeing

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Boeing awarded scholarships to several College of Charleston students in the School of Sciences and Mathematics, and the School of Business.

Students in the School of Sciences and Mathematics are eligible for $10,000 worth of scholarships.

The 2013-2014 Boeing Scholars from the School of Sciences and Mathematics are Amy Steele, an astrophysics major, Chad Hobbs, a computer science major, Tyler Perini, a mathematics and computer science double major, and Nicholas Levitt and Thomas Nash, data science majors.

The 2013-2014 Boeing Scholars from the School of Business are Jeremy Lopez, a double major in international business and Spanish, and Jason Cohen, a business administration major.

The Boeing Scholarship recognizes full-time undergraduate students who show excellent leadership and communications skills and strong interest in pursuing a career in aerospace industry.
