Baptist Hill advances to 3-0 on 37-0 win over Burke

Posted: Updated:

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Baptist Hill left the bright lights of Hollywood for the bright lights of the Holy City to battle Burke Thursday night.

Marion Brown came into the game with his Bobcats off to a 2-0 start on the season with key playmakers stepping up big.

Senior quarterback Troy Harrison is reliable and strong and one of his favorite receivers, No. 9 De'Angelo Frasier, is a monster in the open field. It took half the Burke defensive line to pull him down on one run.

Later in the drive, Harrison connected with his other favorite receiver, Dominique Bryant, over the middle for a touchdown, the first of many on the night.

In the second quarter, Harrison faked the handoff and ran it in himself, one of two touchdowns he carried across the line on the night. He also threw for three more touchdowns.

After Harrison's 19-yard connection to Bryant, it was all Frasier and Harrison from there with Frasier grabbing a 14-yard pass from his quarterback and then capping it with a 32-yard catch.

Rashard Holmes closed out the game with a 7-yard run.

Baptist Hill kept the momentum, trouncing the Bulldogs from Burke, 37-0.
