Whirlin' Waters goes to the dogs

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Whirlin' Waters Adventure Waterpark is going to the dogs.

The park, located at Wannamaker County Park, is opening its doors to canines on Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. for the 5th Annual Dog Day Afternoon at the Waterpark.

Larger dogs can play around in the 27,000 sq. ft. Big Kahuna Wave Pool and the smaller dogs can splash around in the kiddie pool.

The event marks the final day Whirlin' Waters is open to the public.

It closed to humans on September 2.

Owners are not allowed in the water.

Admission to the event is $10 per dog. Owners are free with their pets.
