GCPD identify suspect in Dogwood Park killing

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- A day after identifying the suspect in a deadly shooting, Goose Creek police say the man may be traveling with his 3-year-old son.

Goose Creek police on Tuesday issued an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Stephon Johnson, a man they believe shot and killed William Kuhn. Kuhn was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head in Dogwood Park Sept. 18.

He was found in the park by two teens who were in the park last Wednesday.

Police say Johnson is believed to in the North Charleston or Goose Creek area, is known to carry a pistol and is believed to be armed and dangerous. 

On Wednesday, police said Johnson may be traveling with his 3-year-old son, who is believed to be in danger.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on Johnson's whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers at 554-1111 or the Goose Creek Police Department at 863-5200.
