Bond set at $225,000 for man facing drug charges

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Members of the Charleston Police Department Special Investigation Unit arrested a man on Friday after finding crack cocaine inside his home while executing a search warrant, said officials with the Charleston Police Department.

Demetrius Conyers, 29, of Ducs Court, is charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, and possession of cocaine base with the intent to distribute.

Officers confiscated 13.5 grams of crack cocaine and 4.7 grams of cocaine, officials said.

His bond was set at $225,000.
