Posted: Updated:

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Deputies in Charleston County on Monday began looking for a missing man last seen in downtown Charleston.

According to deputies, 25-year-old William Alexander Apps was last seen Thursday evening around 5 p.m. He is known to hang out on Spring Street and in I'on in Mount Pleasant.

Apps also has ties to the Beaufort area, deputies said. As a result, Beaufort County deputies are looking for Apps as well.

According to the Charleston Pub-Tour Facebook page, Apps was a guide for the company. A post on the page says Apps went to meet someone who was interested in buying his truck and has not been seen since.

Apps is described as a six foot tall white male weighing about 234 pounds with blue green eyes and black hair.

Anyone having seen Apps or having additional information is asked to contact detective Barry Goldstein at 843-308-7339 or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
