MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Organizers say this fall bike rally at Myrtle Beach was the best yet.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported one business owner reported a 35 percent increase in business at the motorcycle rally that ended Sunday.
BikeWeekMB.com director Mark Krom called the rally a success. Krom said the numbers were still being tallied Monday.
Horry County officials said fewer vendor permits were issued this year. Spokeswoman Lisa Bourcier said 32 permits were issued this year, compared with 45 for last fall's rally.
Three people were killed in motorcycle crashes during the event.
