Goose Creek Health Department to hold Tdap clinic

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Goose Creek Health Department is offering a Tdap clinic for 7th grade students who have not yet had the vaccine.

The clinic will take place on Monday, Oct. 14 at the department located at 106 Westview Boulevard.

Tdap, which stands for tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis, is a newly required vaccination for all South Carolina 7th graders

To make an appointment, you can call 843-953-0090. Students with an appointment will be served first.

The vaccine is offered at no charge for students with Medicaid.

For students with and without insurance will have to pay $13.

Special consideration will be given for students with extreme financial situations.
