Georgetown searching for wanted man in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Georgetown police are looking for a man they believe is the third suspect in the robberies that happened there Sunday night.

The suspect, Nigal Omar Vanderhorst, is described as a 5'11" tall black man weighing 189 pounds.

Police said Vanderhorst lives at 565 Brailsford Road in McClellanville but he is believed to be in the North Charleston area.

The United States Marshals service is assisting the Georgetown Police Department in finding Vanderhorst who should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Vanderhorst should contact their local law enforcement agency or dial 911. You can also call Georgetown Police Department at 843-545-4300 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
