CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Charleston is getting another waterfront park.

Mayor Joe Riley and members of city council broke ground last October on what's being called Northbridge Park. They will return to the site to hold a dedication ceremony Tuesday morning.

The park, located at the foot of the North Bridge along Sam Rittenberg Blvd in West Ashley, will include a fishing pier. The city says it will provide a gateway for residents and visitors to the city's western suburbs.

Space is limited, so parking will be at the Scottish Rite at 1051 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. As shuttle will be provided starting at 10 a.m.
