Posted: Updated:

Two semi trucks have shut down westbound lanes of Highway 412 following a wreck between each other.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol stated that the wreck happened around 4:45 Wednesday morning. The collision reportedly happened at 265th East Avenue east of Catoosa.

Officials at the scene told KTUL that the truck on the outside lane headed eastbound decided to make a u-turn when it went in front of the other truck. No injuries were reported at the scene.

Cleanup crews confirmed that the diesel spilled during the collision is from one of the trucks. Both semis weren't carrying any hazardous materials.

Officials with the Department of Transportation stated that those driving in the area can experience significant delays. Drivers are also encouraged to seek an alternative route.
