Suspect in Dogwood Park murder is in custody

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- A man wanted in the shooting death of 40-year-old William Kuhn was found by authorities on the West Coast.

Goose Creek Police officials said they were told Wednesday night that U.S. Marshals Service took  Stephon Johnson into custody in Lancaster, Calif.

Johnson, 24, is wanted by GCPD for the shooting death of William Kuhn. 

Kuhn's body was found by two teens in Dogwood Park on September 18. An autopsy revealed his cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the head.

Officials said Johnson is in the custody of authorities in Los Angeles County, California, pending extradition.
