Officers arrested a woman Wednesday afternoon for reportedly entering a local restaurant with a knife and threatening an employee.

Tulsa Police placed Amy McMenis under arrest outside Tally's Cafe. She was booked on a first degree arson and assault with a deadly weapon complaint.

According to her arrest information, officers were called to the scene after McMenis entered the restaurant with a knife. She reportedly told an unidentified victim "You're the Taliban and I'm going to kill you."

She proceeded to slash at the victim with a knife, but the victim was able to move away and avoid being cut. After the alleged assault McMenis went outside and attempted to set a newspaper stand on fire with a lighter.

"[McMenis] had a strong odor associated with [an] alcoholic beverage about her breath and person," her arrest information described. Officers found a partially drank bottle of mouthwash during her arrest.

She was transported to the Tulsa County Jail on $25,000 bond.
