CCSO: Men robbed Subway restaurant in Halloween masks

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston County Sheriff's deputies are searching for two males they said robbed a Savannah Highway Subway restaurant in Halloween masks.

Deputies said they responded to the Subway restaurant at 3750 Savannah Highway at about 9 p.m. in reference to an armed robbery.

Workers told deputies the suspects were wearing Halloween masks, deputies said.

Deputies said one suspect showed a hand gun and demanded money.

According to a police report, the suspects stole about $350 from two registers.

The men headed toward Bees Ferry Road on foot. Deputies said a K-9 unit tracked their trail to the road but it ended there.
