Tulsa County Sheriff Deputies Arrest Three After Pursuit

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa County deputies have arrested three and are looking for another suspect Wednesday morning after a pursuit.

Deputies with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene just before 2 a.m. in the 2900 block of W. 30th St.

A deputy was attempting to stop a black pickup truck for minor traffic violations when the driver sped off.

As the chase approached a neighborhood, the deputy backed off.

"If it's a situation that we're chasing from a minor crime and the roads are hazardous, slick, we weigh those options continuously, with weather conditions, road conditions, why are we chasing this person," said Capt. John Bryant.

The deputy ended up catching up to the truck as all four people were running away.

The truck was stolen and the passengers all had felony warrants for minor crimes. Officers are now looking for the driver of the truck.
